Water Reliability

BCVWD began as a small, privately owned company in 1919 and has since grown to service more than 64,000 people in the City of Beaumont and the community of Cherry Valley.

Over the past 100 years, we’ve increased our ability to deliver water to our customers through a complex network of wells and transmission systems, while also increasing our water storage to 22 million gallons in the Beaumont Storage Unit.

‘Our commitment to innovation and sustainability ensures that we can meet the needs of today while protecting our water resources for future generations,’ said BCVWD Board member Lona Williams. We’ve also established Recharge Facilities to replenish the Beaumont Basin with stormwater runoff and recycled water to ensure the longevity of our water supply.

Leaks

It’s important to regularly inspect pipes and appliances inside and outside your home to ensure water isn’t being wasted, as undetected leaks can often lead to an increase in your water bill.

The most common leaks include faucets or constantly running toilets, which can waste up to 200 gallons of water each day!

Most small leaks can be easily fixed at home, but if you detect a serious leak or are unsure how to fix an existing one, it’s best to contact a professional for help.
