Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District (BCVWD) customers have even more conservation resources available to them with the recent relaunch of the state’s Save Our Water campaign.
The free tips and resources available online at saveourwater.com include:
“Even though California has seen some storms this rainy season, drought is still extreme and conserving water remains more important than ever,” said Vice President Lona Williams on behalf of the Board of Directors. “BCVWD is committed to helping our customers save water and mitigate the impacts of another challenging dry period.”
The District also offers water conservation tips at bcvwd.org/water-conservation-tips and in its Water Conservation Pocket Guide.
BCVWD has taken steps to ensure a continued safe, reliable water supply. The District recently updated its Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP), which identifies six stages of emergency measures in the event of a water shortage such as drought or disaster.
Even if mandatory cutbacks are required, water service will continue uninterrupted. Thanks to groundwater in the Beaumont Basin and strategic purchases of imported water, BCVWD has ample water in storage.
